  More Words

My words
come straight out of the mouth
whether they belong there
                        or not.

Out in the air
they take form       hang heavy        floating around

while I keep waiting for them to
              dissipate
disappearing from my history forever.

But it's almost as if they have
a half life     and they'll only slowly fade away

after what feels like
                         centuries of discomfort.
Glowing brightly
                     as I cringe.

My words that
                  are never spoken
whither away in moments
          dried up          crumbling

becoming microscopic in size
              in existence
until they blow away
out of the reach of my heart.
